The Virtuoso Armor is a unique set from the Cleanup Britannia collection in Ultima Online. The phrasing on the armor is terrible at best, so we try to explain the bonus you get from wearing this armor.
When you reach 90.0 skill in any of the 3 bard skills, Discordance, Peacemaking, and Provocation. You can understake a quest in britain to unlock the mastery for that skill. You can only select one mastery at a time.
As a bard whichever Mastery you pick will give you +10% Success chance to that ability, and a +5% chance to the other 2 bard skills. We assume this is an additive bonus like with crafting talismans, so if you have a 25% Chance to discord without it, you get a 35% chance with the discord mastery selected.
While wearing this armor you can double click the armor to activate it's bard mastery bonus, which will double the 10% and 5% Increase to 20% and 10% respectively. The effect lasts 1 minute and can be activated from all 4 pieces, but only one at a time. It has a cooldown of 15 minutes with the full set equipped or 30 minutes with less than 4 pieces. Which means you can increase your chance to discord/provoke/peace for 4 minutes every 15 minutes. This is a huge improvement in your chance to discord when going up against peerless and targets that are difficult to discord.
All 4 armor pieces are unimbued and have a 450% maximum imbue weight. You will have to add mage armor to one piece to make it medable. Ring into chat today to discuss imbuing options to meet your custom needs!
